Since the beginning of the project, we have been committed to transparency and collaboration with the authorities that may be concerned by the project.
A structured information and consultation process
MIFFC has undertaken a structured information and consultation process with its stakeholders, resulting in positive feedback:
- Two open house sessions
- More than 25 meetings with stakeholders
- Participation in the public consultation process of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM)
- MIFFC responded positively to the 11 recommendations in the CMM consultation report that were related to MIFFC and the project
- The BAPE public hearing process was initiated by MIFFC in recognition of the interest shown by the various stakeholders during the information and consultation meetings.
Next steps in our consultation process
To further develop the project in a constructive manner with all the stakeholders involved, MIFFC will create a community liaison committee prior to the start of construction work.
