The liaison committee was established to create a communication channel between the citizens of Montréal-Est, the environmental and social community groups, the City of Montréal-Est and the project developers. Participation is voluntary and unpaid. The liaison committee oversees the entire airport fuel supply project, from the construction phase to commissioning and throughout its operation.
Two meetings per year are planned during the construction period, and one meeting a year once the project is operational. CIAM and its team remain available between meetings to collect feedback and questions from liaison committee members and stakeholders or to hold a special meeting if required.
During liaison committee meetings, the CIAM team provides updates on project progress, upcoming work, mitigation measures, recent reports (if any), and answers members’ questions.
