project involved the refurbishment of the Domestic Terminal, the demolition of part of the A\u00e9roquai Terminal, and the modification of the hydrant fuel system to optimize aircraft refuelling following a significant reconfiguration of the departure gates. With continued airport growth and the progressive disappearance of fuel facilities in the region, the need to provide the airport with reliable and safe fuel supply infrastructure has become increasingly important. Its facilities could no longer meet the continued demand and the growth in the number of flights to and from the City of Toronto.
